Volunteer Page

This page is for volunteers who want to go to events with an adult with a learning disability and/or autism.

What does a Gig Buddy volunteer do?

As a Gig buddies volunteer you will assist an adult with mild to moderate learning disability and/or autism to access the community and attend events (and have fun!).

You will be provided training and ongoing support to do this.

You and your buddy will go to an event (gig) or catch up once a month for at least 12 months.

You and your buddy choose the events you both want to attend.

You can also come along to Gig Buddies hosted events (see our What’s On page). These are a great way to meet other volunteers and participants.

If you are signed up as a participant or volunteer you can come to our group events

(even if you don’t have a gig buddy)
