Dress to impress (or spook) 👻

Writer's picture: Gig Buddies SydneyGig Buddies Sydney

We’re excited to announce details of our first ever online Halloween fancy dress Kahoot! quiz.

Taking place on both Tuesday at midday and Friday at 5pm, we invite buddies to ‘show us what they know’ about the subject of Halloween.

We’ll be asking attendees 30 questions on Halloween, and during the Zoom we’ll take a photo of those who have dressed for the occasion - with prizes given for the best outfits.

We’ll be picking three winners. To get involved, click on one of the links below:

Tuesday 27/10:

Friday 30/10:

All online games will take place via Zoom. For information on how to use Zoom, load up the following easy read guide written by Learning Disability Wales. Alternatively, click here to check out our 'how to use Zoom' video.

We’ve also written an easy read guide for Kahoot!, the app used to play the Gig Buddies Sydney online quizzes. Click here to read.

To play the Gig Buddies Sydney online quizzes buddies will need access to two devices, one to run Zoom and the other to enable the Kahoot! app. For example, buddies could access Zoom via a desktop computer/laptop and load up the Kahoot! app on a smartphone or tablet.

Please note, questions for Gig Buddies Sydney's online quizzes will be updated weekly and we encourage participants to only attend one quiz event.

If you have any questions or would like more information, send us an email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org, get in touch on Facebook Messenger or contact us via text or on the phone on either 0422 061 990 or 0412 145 819.

These feet were made for walking 👣

This past weekend we took part in another two bush walks.

Thanks to the buddies who joined us in Waverton for our Balls Head stroll (23/10), and to those who walked with Bec from Como to Oatley (24/10).
